Make time for Old-Time as we warm up for the Mount Airy Bluegrass and Old-Time Fiddlers Convention. Offerings will include fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, bass, slow jams with “hot seats,” a dance, and more. Classes will be small as retreat attendance is limited to no more than 50. Class schedule is subject to change dependent upon registration requests. Andy Edmonds will lead the instruction along with Chester McMillian, Kirk Sutphin, Kevin Fore, and others. The retreat is hosted by the Surry Arts Council and supported in part by the North Carolina Department of Natural & Cultural Resources, with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
