Boonerang is a free music and arts festival in downtown Boone. The festival includes multiple concert stages and food, beer, and crafts vendors – all with connections to the Boone area.
The second annual Boonerang Music & Arts Festival will take place on June 15-17. Thursday and Friday will feature evening concerts. Saturday is a day-long event that includes a vendor market. Music and events will be happening throughout downtown Boone.
This is a FREE event. No tickets are required for admission to concerts and vendor areas. The only money you’ll need is what you plan to spend on food, beverage, merchandise, and Boonerang swag.
Long-term festival parking will be available in ASU’s Peacock Lot (via Rivers Street). Additional overflow parking is available at the Watauga Social Services lot at 132 Poplar Grove Connector. For those visiting downtown businesses, long-term paid parking is located along Queen Street and metered spaces are available on King Street.
Venues: The primary concert areas include street stage on South Depot and North Depot, a lawn stage at the Jones House, a side stage at Espresso News, and the Appalachian Theatre. There will be a kids zone at the Watauga Library and food/beverage and craft vendors will be set up along the streets.
