The Fading Voices Festival

30th Annual Demonstration Day – A Celebration of Traditional Ways of The Snowbird Cherokees. Step back in time at a celebration of traditional ways of the Snowbird Cherokee Indians. Sacred mound ceremony, handmade crafts, traditional Cherokee foods, demonstrations, exhibits, traditional dancing, storytelling, singing, and children’s games. The Sacred Mound Ceremony will begin at 11:00 am. Everyone who would like to participate in the ceremony should bring at least one cup or one turtle shell full of dirt.
