Concerts Ashe Civic Center

The Ashe County Civic Center hosts a variety of events all year long. Featured here are concerts and events that feature Western North Carolina's traditional mountain music, song, and dance.

2019 Upcoming Events:

  • March 15 - Molly Tuttle Concert, 7:30 pm, $20.00/ Adults, $5.00/Students .   Molly Tuttle speaks softly. Her voice is both lilting and lucid, and when she says that she wants to create music that is truly original and unmistakably hers, her quietness shifts into a steely audacity that’s charming and almost funny––she’s only 25, after all. But then, you remember her songs. And it hits you: brash, beautiful originality is exactly what Molly is doing.
  • April 11 - Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen, 7:30 pm, $TBA.   With their last album earning Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen a 2015 GRAMMY Nomination for Best Bluegrass Album, the eagerly anticipated Family, Friends & Heroes released March 4th to great critical acclaim. This genre stretching album provides a generous glimpse into Solivan’s work that pays homage to his family members and features the pristine playing of his closest musical heroes, including Del McCoury, Rob Ickes, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Ronnie McCoury, John Cowan, Mike Bub, Shawn Camp and Megan McCormick.
