I grew up in the hills of central and eastern KY, and have live in western NC for nearly 20 years. I play a wide mix of old time mt music, Appalachian folk, as well as blues, jazz, roots music, and “countrypolitan.” It will be a blend of old time clawhammer banjo, as well as multiple guitar styles., with a focus on fiddletunes, old time ballads, as well a few slighty more contemporaneous bits. I’m stoked to come play for you guys again!
The Folk School features some of the finest regional and national acts performing eclectic roots music. We’ll have standard seating available, first come first serve. A donation of $5-15 per adult is suggested, but all are welcome regardless of contribution. Folk School Students and Staff are not asked to donate.
