Ashe Arts Luthier Exhibit

This exhibit celebrates luthiery, which has a long history in Appalachia. Local and regional artisans who specialize in building and repairing instruments will be featured with instruments on display throughout the month, as well as special performances. A luthier is a skilled craftsperson who builds stringed instruments like guitars, banjos, and dulcimers, which are deeply rooted in Appalachia’s traditional music.
