George Shuffler, Bluegrass Pioneer, Dies //

George Shuffler of Valdese, NC passed away on April 7th, 2014 after a lifetime spent blazing a trail in the world of bluegrass.

"A longtime sideman who was known as “the third Stanley Brother” for his tenure with Ralph and Carter Stanley, Shuffler leaves behind a legacy that includes the crosspicking technique.
