Sounds of the Appalachian Music Camp at Mayland Community College Avery Learning Center

The 3rd annual Sounds of the Appalachians Music (S.A.M.) Camp, brought to you by Mayland Community College will leave your toes tapping. S.A.M. Camp is a week of fun filled fellowship in a wide variety of classes and daily master concerts led by local Camp Director Rhodyjane Meadows and your favorite returning instructors. New to the team this year is retired King University Band Director Lonny Finley. Students ages 12-112 are invited to attend with scholarships available for Avery County youth.
