Books and Banjos Summer Program for Kids

Give your kids a Scruggs-style summer!  The Earl Scruggs Center announces our new summer program Books & Banjos. Each hour-long program uses books and music to entertain our younger audience, ages 5-10 and features a different theme and make-and-take craft.  Groups of 10 or more kids who are interested in this program, call Patty at the Earl Scruggs Center and sign up for a special program time, convenient for them.  These groups can choose one of the following themes: “Banjo-inspired,” “I got a Bullfrog!” or “Rhythm and Rhyme.”

Programs Include:

  • July 19 - Features David Holt’s kid-centered cd, “I Got a Bullfrog!”
  • August 16 -  Rhythm and Rhyme
